If you’re enrolled in Original Medicare, then yes. But Medicare Advantage, Part D prescription drug coverage, and some Medigap plans can be state-specific.
The advantages are Affordability, many plans available to compare, and a possibility of receiving tax credits, and subsidies, depending on your income.
Medicare and Medicaid are both government health care programs, but they are very different.
Medicare: is generally for people who are 65 or older, or who have a qualified disability.
Medicaid: is a state-governed program for people with limited income and resources.

No. Original Medicare doesn't cover prescription drugs. Part A may cover some drugs you get as an inpatient.
